Welcome to St. John

We are a historic but vital community where people have found nourishment and refuge for nearly two centuries.  We continue to gather weekly for beautiful worship, challenging and grace-filled formation, and to be sent by Christ Jesus to be his hands and feet in a world yearning for hope and love.

St. John offers a wide variety of ways in which to learn and to serve. On Sundays, there are Sunday School programs for both children and adults, in addition to our worship services. The 8:45am Holy Eucharist is a traditional liturgy with congregational music. The 11:00am Eucharist is accompanied by our choir and often includes sung prayers. Between the services, you can find Sunday School for children and adults in our Parish House, across the street from the church. We also have a nursery available from 8:30 to 12:30 each Sunday, though children are most welcome in both worship services. Here, you will find ministries of worship, fellowship, and outreach, including lay readers, altar guild, acolytes, women’s ministries, the men’s chefs group, and the young family ministry—just to name a few. You are invited to be nourished here and to share your gifts.

It is our privilege to share worship and ministry with you. We hope you make a habit of joining us.
