In recent
years, both the interior and exterior of the church building
have been refurbished. Throughout the 2002-2003 winter months,
the interior was skillfully cleaned, polished, painted and repaired.
These pictures reflect the fruits of those labors.
Attention
to detail was essential in preserving the historic design and
decoration. Of special note is the beautiful gilding of the
crown and crosses on the sanctuary ceiling (above right) which
was painstakingly applied by one of our own parishioners!
The historic churchyard is particularly beautiful in the Spring.
